Create a backup copy of the Trend Micro Safe Lock Intelligent Manager (SLIM) server configuration files and certificates.
SLIM Server Configuration Files
- Copy the following files located in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Safe Lock Intelligent Manager\.
- config.xml
- config.bkp.uninit.xml
- config.bkp.init.xml
- Copy the setting.xml file located in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Safe Lock Intelligent Manager\CmdTools\Installer.
SLIM Server Certificates
- Copy the trend.base64.cer file located in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Safe Lock Intelligent Manager\CmdTools\Installer.
- Export the SLIM server certificate into a .pfx file:
- On the SLIM server, press Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type "mmc" and press OK.
- Click File > Add/Remove Snap-in...
- Under Available snap-ins, select Certificates and then click Add.
- Select Computer account, then click Next.
- Select Local computer, click Finish and then click OK.
- Under Console Root, expand Certificates > Personal > Certificates.
- Double-click the SLIM server certificate.
- Click Details > Copy to File...
- Once the Certificate Export Wizard pops-up, click Next.
- Select Yes, export the private key.
- Make sure that the following are selected:
- Personal Information Exchange - PKCS #12 (.PFX)
- Include all certificates in the certification path if possible
- Export all extended properties
- Click Next.
- Tick the Password and set a password for the certificate, then click Next.
- Click Browse..., specify a file name for the certificate, and click Save.
- Click Next, and then click Finish.
- Copy the following Safe Lock agent installer packages in C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Safe Lock Intelligent Manager\CmdTools\RemoteAgentSetupTool\package:
- TMSL2.0_EN.zip
- TMSL2.0_JA.zip
