An issue has been found in Trend Micro Deep Security Agent (DSA) 12.0 Update 3 (Build: 12.0.0-682) where the Deep Security Agent Anti-Malware Service may become disabled. In addition, high CPU usage may be also observed due to a number of diagnostic files being generated when the service is disabled.

Trend Micro recommends that customers who have already installed Deep Security Agent Version 12.0 Update 3 on Windows and enabled the Anti-Malware Real-Time feature uninstall this version of the agent and replace it with an earlier DSA version.
The root cause has been identified and the issue will be addressed in the next update release.
