ServerProtect has three components:
  • Information Server
  • Normal Server
  • Management console
A Normal Server can be any server on a network where ServerProtect is installed. This is the first line of defense in the ServerProtect architecture and where all the action takes place.
This server performs the actual antivirus functions of the system and managed by an Information Server.
