DBServer service stopped causing agents to not display in the web console of OfficeScan XG / Apex One

DB Server

The Troubleshooting Assistant for Server tool detected that the DBServer service has stopped.

In some environments, the DB server service is not running. This will result in the agents cannot be shown in the web console, the agent cannot get the setting from the Apex One Server and so on.

  1. Check if the dbserver.exe is running. Go to Task Manager > Details.
  2. Check whether the SQL server can be connected. Here's an example for ofcserver.ini:
