Apex One™ Patch 4 / OfficeScan XG SP1 Patch 4 enhanced support services enables Trend Micro to collect basic server information that does not contain personally identifiable information (PII).
This article provides information on the data that is collected.
With Apex One™ Patch 4 / OfficeScan XG SP1 Patch 4 installed, Apex One server will feedback the following data once when enhanced support services firstly started.
- Server Version
- Server Build
- Server GUID
- Activation Code (AC)
- Time zone
Data is sent by Endpoint Basecamp module and may require customers to configure their firewall settings.
- Installation path: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Endpoint Basecamp
- File name: EndpointBasecamp.exe

This is part of a future update channel that will be used for rapid deployment of solution patches.
Afterwards, enhanced support services will not send any more feedback data. Instead, it will connect to the backend on an hourly basis for task checking / pulling (if any).
