Deep Security Agent upgrade fails due to missing Azure plugin

Deep Security has decided to remove Azure plugin in the future update of Deep Security Agent 20 LTS.

You may encounter an agent upgrade failure that is caused by Azure plugin similar to the following:

The Azure plugin which is used for Azure Marketplace extension has been deprecated for years. With this, Deep Security decided to completely remove the DSP from agent archive in the future update of Deep Security Agent 20 LTS.

Do the following to accomplish agent upgrade without error:

  1. De-activate the agent facing the failure from Deep Security Manager.
  2. Re-install Deep Security Agent.
  3. Activate the agent.
