Starting from Portable Security version 3.0.5030. Portable Security Scanning Tool and Management Program by default will use HTTPS protocol when updating components from Trend Micro ActiveUpdate Server.

The error message below indicates that the connection between Portable Security and Trend Micro ActiveUpdate Server is unavailable and a reason might be because the environment doesn’t support HTTPS:
