SPFS 6.0: Minimum Requirements

Make sure that there is no other anti-malware agent on the computer where the SPFS software is being installed.

The Normal Server and the Information Server may be installed on the same computer endpoint running a Windows Server operating system. There must be at least one Information Server and as many Normal Server as you think necessary to manage your data throughput.

  • A privileged user local admin on the Normal Server

If you still do not have the media that contains the HSPAInstall.exe installer, please request it from a Hitachi representative and not from Trend Micro as this is a Hitachi agent.
 

Default setting is to Install.

Open the Hspagent program, configure the basic information to connect to the HDI system.

Scan node settings

Do a test to the Connection. The test status is “ok”.

After the configured Scanner server is ready, restart the CIFS service in the “Access Protocol Configuration” page.

And now you are done installing SPFS and integrating it with Hitachi NAS.

 

In the SPFS Scanner side, set the "Incoming&Outgoing" scan direction in the "RealtimeScan Option".
