Trend Micro can no longer get vendor support for some operating systems. Therefore, SPLX will be ending support for the following operating systems as of March 31, 2022:
|Operating System||Vendor End Of Life|
|Redhat 4||March 31, 2017|
|Redhat 5||November 30, 2020|
|CentOS 4||February 29, 2012|
|CentOS 5||March 31, 2017|
|SuSE 10||July 30, 2016|
In addition, while there is no official end-of-life date posted, SPLX will also be ending support for the following operating systems:
- Asianux 2.0
- Asianux 3.0
- Haansoft 2006
- Miracle Linux 4.0
Between today and March 31, 2022 any issues found on these operating systems will be given best effort support. The Trend Micro Support Team will continue to help customers if issues arise on these platforms. However, given that the operating systems are at end-of-life, no new functionality will be added and there is risk that customers may encounter an issue that cannot be fixed by Trend Micro. If this occurs, customers will be notified and the Trend Micro Support Team will work with the customer to offer acceptable alternatives.
It is recommended that customers using these operating systems perform an upgrade to a vendor-supported operating system.
