This article shows the recommended reinstallation procedure to resolve the issue of Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC) Mac Security Agents not being listed on the Security Agent tree from the product console.
- Log on to the Customer Licensing Portal and go to the Worry-Free Business Security Services console.
Click on the Administration menu tab, look for the Tools and then download the Uninstall tool for Mac.
After downloading, run the uninstall tool on the MAC machine.
Check the location /private/var/tmp if there are remnants of the previous agent. If there is none, you can now proceed on reinstalling a new agent on the mac machine.
Open Safari and clear all the Trend Micro cookies and cache on the safari browser.
Click on the Safari tab, then click on Preferences to open up the Safari settings, once that pops up click on the Privacy settings and then look for the “Manage Website Data…” it should open up a new window where all of the browser data is stored. You can now clear the TrendMicro cache or cookies.
