Learn the difference between ServerProtect for EMC Celerra (SPEMC) from ServerProtect for Microsoft Windows/Novell Netware.

Details
Public

SPEMC and ServerProtect for Microsoft Windows/Novell Netware are almost similar when it comes to modules and file versions. Because of this, users are sometimes unable to distinguish what program is currently installed.

SPEMC has a Celerra Antivirus Agent (CAVA) that ServerProtect does not have.

To check if the machine has CAVA, open the Registry Editor (Run > regedit) and check if the key  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\ServerProtect\CurrentVersion\CAVA exists.

Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
