The InterScan Messaging Security Suite (IMSS) database is taking large amount of space.
When the database is taking up too much space, you need to perform database maintenance.
To reduce the space used by logs:
- Log on to the IMSS for Linux management console.
- Go to Logs > Settings.
- Under "Reporting Logs (stored in database)", change the value of the Number of days to keep reporting logs field.
- Click Save.
- For the changes to take effect, run the following commands:
#export IMSS_HOME=/opt/trend/imss
#export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/$IMSS_HOME/lib
#/opt/trend/imss/bin/report/dblog_janitor
If the disk space issue continues, refer to this article: The / var partition free disk space is decreasing while the /var/imss directory size increases.
