Follow the option that applies to you:

  1. Download the latest scan engine version for WFBS  from the Trend Micro Download Center.

    If you want to perform a manual rollback, download a previous version of the scan engine or use an existing backup.

  2. Note the engine version of the downloaded file.
  3. Rename the downloaded file as "TMEngNT.zip" and copy this to the ..\PCCSRV\Download folder.
  4. Extract the contents of the copied file to the ..\PCCSRV\PCCNT\DRV folder.
  5. Return to the ..\PCCRSRV folder, then open the ofcscan.ini file using a text editor like Notepad.
  6. Change the value of the following entry:

    EngineNT_Version=x.xxx

    where x.xxx is the scan engine version from Step 2.

    Example: EngineNT_Version=8.550

  7. Save the changes and close the file.
  8. Return to the ..\PCCSRV\Download folder, then copy the TMEngNT.zip file to the ..\PCCSRV\Download\engine folder.
  9. Rename the copied file as "eng_ntkd.zip", then return to the ..\PCCSRV\Download folder.
  10. Open the server.ini file and find the [ENGINE] section.
  11. Change the values of the following:

    Path_VSAPI32_NT_KD=engine/eng_ntkd.zip, X.Y, zzzzz
    E.10=VSAPI32_NT_KD, engine/eng_ntkd.zip, X.Y.BBBB, zzzzz, 7.1.1003

    where:

    X.Y = version of the downloaded engine
    zzzzz = size (measured in bytes) of the downloaded engine
    BBBB = build number of the downloaded engine

    Example:

    Path_VSAPI32_NT_KD=engine/eng_ntkd.zip, 8.550, 805426
    E.10=VSAPI32_NT_KD, engine/eng_ntkd.zip, 8.550, 805426

  12. Save the changes and close the file.

    • tmfilter.sys
    • vsapint.sys
    • tmpreflt.sys
