Checking accounts uploaded by the Active Directory Sync client of Hosted Email Security (HES)

Summary

The HES Active Directory Sync client is a Microsoft Active Directory (AD) plug-in connector. It is installed in your environment and has access to your AD. It periodically queries the user email accounts from data sources in the AD and reports the changes to the HES service.

Enable the Web Services application in HES under Administration > Web Services & Tools before doing the steps below.

Supported browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 9 and older versions
  • Firefox 29 and older versions

To verify the AD accounts successfully synced by HES/HES - Inbound Filtering Active Directory Sync Client to HES / HES - Inbound Filtering servers:

  1. Enter one of the following URLs in your Web browser:
    • For customers in Europe/Middle East/Asia/Africa:

      https://imhs-ws.trendmicro.eu/imhs/v1.0/en/domains/test.com/users

    • For customers in other regions:

      https://us.imhs-ws.trendmicro.com/imhs/v1.0/en/domains/test.com/users

    where: "test.com" is replaced by your domain name

    A logon pop-up window appears.

  2. Enter your HES/HES - Inbound Filtering administrator account name as the username and your API KEY for the password.
     
    The API KEY can be obtained from the Adminisration > Web Services > Service Authentication Key in the HES/HES - Inbound Filtering console.

    The list of synced accounts is displayed.
