The following error message appears when logging in to the management console after upgrading OfficeScan:
Please check your password and try again. Passwords are case-sensitive.
The message appears because OfficeScan uses an authentication method that is different from the previous versions. The customer is now required to enter the username and the password that was selected during installation.
By default, the first user configured during installation is "root". This also applies to all upgrades from previous OfficeScan versions.
