Manually configure the Scheduled Scan settings from the roaming Security Agent (SA) in WFBS.
By default, the Scheduled Scan setting is disabled on SA. The procedure below is for standalone clients, meaning those that do not have a connection to the WFBS server.
To enable it:
- Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe). Always create a backup before modifying the registry. Incorrect registry changes may cause serious issues. Should this occur, restore it by referring to the "Restoring the Registry" Help topic in Regedit.exe or the "Restoring a Registry Key" Help topic in Regedt32.exe.
- Look for the following registry hive:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Prescheduled Scan Configuration\Allowcfg
- Set the value of "Key Allowcfg" to "1", and then close the registry.
- Open the Security Agent from the system tray, then click Scan.
You can now configure the Scheduled Scan settings.
