Summary

When the OfficeScan web console is not available, you can determine the completion time (end time) of a scheduled or manual scan through the OfficeScan client's registry.

Details
Public

Scheduled and manual scan completion time (end time) are recorded inside the registry hive HKLM\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\Misc

Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.

The information are recorded as values in the following strings:

  • SpyManualScanDateTime (Manual Scan)
  • SpyScheduleScanDateTime (Scheduled Scan)
  • Virus/Malware Count (Reset to 0 before starting manual/scheduled scan)
