Deep Security Manager generates alerts recommending that users should apply Application Types to the Security Profile for applications that are not installed on their protected host.

Each application type contains logic for determining if the application type should be applied. Should there be a false positive occurrence from the recommendation engine, contact Trend Micro Technical Support to open a ticket and have this rectified. Make sure to include details about the Application Type that is being recommended.
