Enabling and disabling Web Reputation in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS)

Enable or disable the Web Reputation feature via the product console in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS).

The Web Reputation feature of WFBS includes the following functions:

  • URL Filtering
  • TrendProtect

To enable or disable these functions, do the following:

  1. Log on to the WFBS Security Dashboard then click Security Settings.
  2. Select the group(s) you want to configure then click Configure.

    For WFBS 8.0 and below:

    For WFBS 9.0:

  3. Click Web Reputation > In Office or Out of Office.
  4. Tick the Enable Web Reputation to activate URL Filtering, or remove the check mark to disable it.

    For WFBS 8.0 and below:

    For WFBS 9.0:

  5. If you are activating Web Reputation, select the appropriate Security Level.
  6. Click Save.
 
This feature is only available on WFBS 6.0.

Security Dashboard

  1. Log on to the WFBS Security Dashboard then click Security Settings.
  2. Select the group(s) you want to configure then click Configure.

  3. Click TrendSecure Toolbars > In Office or Out of Office.
  4. Under TrendProtect, select Enable Page Ratings.

  5. Click Save.

Client/Server Security Agent Console

  1. Right-click on the Client/Server Security Agent system tray icon then select Client/Server Security Agent Console.
  2. Click the Security Protection tab then select TrendSecure Toolbars from the dropdown menu.
  3. Under TrendProtect (Page Ratings), click Install.
  4. Open your Web browser and verify if the TrendProtect toolbar appears:

    To disable TrendProtect, click the TrendProtect toolbar then select Disable TrendProtect.
