Web installation of the Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC) Agent

Select the installation method that applies to you.

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Click Devices and select Add Devices.
  3. Under Select an installation method, do one of the following:
    • Click Send Email to copy the download URL into your default email client to be sent to your users.
    • Click Install to proceed with the installation of the agent.

  4. To install the agent:
    1. Click Download.
       
      If you are using Firefox, you need to download the installer package from the link provided, save it to your computer and run it to install.

      Once done, connection to the Internet to install the agent will start.

    3. Click Finish to finish the installation.

      When the installation is complete, the WFBS-SVC icon will appear.

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Click Devices and select Add Devices.
  3. Under Select an installation method, do one of the following:
    • Click Send Email to copy the download URL into your default email client, to be sent to your users.
    • Click Install to proceed with the installation of the agent.

  4. Click Download.

  5. Open the installer.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Select Disk.

  8. Click Install.

  9. Provide the password for User Account Control (UAC) and click Install Software.

    A window will appear saying the installation is successful.

    The T-Ball will appear in the icon bar after the installation.

This solution is applicable to TMMS 9 only.
  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to Devices > Add Devices > Send email.

    The administrator/user will send an email invite to the intended Android device.

  3. Click the link from the invitation email. You will be prompted to download TMMS using your mobile browser.

  4. Wait until the download completes, and then proceed with the installation.

  5. When the installation is complete, type in the authentication key to enroll the device.

    To find the authentication key:

    1. Open the email invitation.
    2. Go to Devices > Add Devices > View Email Details.
      The authentication key expires after 15 days.
  6. Choose the features you would like to use when the prompt appears.

    All Features will only be available when Data Security settings can be turned on/off by users is enabled in the web portal.

  7. Read the Terms of Use, and then tap the Accept button.

  8. Tap Activate to complete the enrollment.

    The program should be installed afterwards.

iOS mobile devices require profiles and enrollment for management. Administrators must create an APNs certificate to enroll iOS mobile devices. If the APNs certificate is revoked or expires, iOS mobile devices cannot be managed. All unmanaged iOS mobile devices must be re-enrolled.

To generate Apple Push Notification (APN) Certificate:

  1. Click Administration.
  2. Click Device Enrollment Settings.
  3. Click Create APNs Certificate.
  4. Type the Apple ID used to create the Apple Push Notification Service certificate. This ID is required for certificate renewals.
  5. Download the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) signed by Trend Micro.
  6. Create the APNs certificate from the Apple portal:
    1. Go to the Apple Push Certificate Portal.
    2. Click Create a Certificate.
    3. Upload the signed CSR (CSR_signed_by_TrendMicro.b64) to create an APNs certificate.
    4. Download the certificate from the Apple portal.
  7. Upload the certificate (MDM_Trend Micro_Incorporated_Certificate.pem) downloaded from Apple.
  8. Click Back.
  9. Edit the Terms of Use, if required.
  10. Click Send.

    Note: Apple Push Notification Service certificate (APNs) has 1 year validity.

To enroll an iOS device:

  1. In the web console go to Devices > Add Devices > Send email.

    The administrator/user will send an email invite to the intended iOS device.

  2. Tap the install link from the email.

    It will check if there is an existing APN certificate. If there is an existing APN certificate, it will open in the Safari browser.

  3. Type the authentication code included on the email.
  4. Tap Continue. Read the Terms of Use, and then tap Accept.
  5. Tap Continue to install the components.
  6. Tap Done once the installation is finished.
