Select the installation method that applies to you.

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to the Security Agents tab.

  3. Click Add Security Agents.

  4. From the Add Security Agents to dropdown list, select which group you want to add the Security Agent to.

  5. Click on Install on this Endpoint.

    The installation instructions page appears.

  6. In the Install the Trend Micro Security Agent page, click Download.

  7. Once done, click on the Download Utility ("WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.exe").

    A popup window appears.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Once done, click Finish.

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to the Security Agents tab.

  3. Click Add Security Agents.

  4. On the Security Agent Installation Methods page, select an installation method by doing either of the following:

    • Click Send Installer Link to copy the download URL into your default email client, to be sent to your users.

      This action will generate a predefined email.

      If you choose Send Installer Link, you have the following options:

      • Choose the recipients of the email that will need the installation on their workstations.
      • Once the email has been received by the users they just need to click or copy the URL link on the address bar.
    • Click Install on This Endpoint to proceed with the installation of the agent.

      The installation instructions will appear, click on Download.

  5. Open the downloaded installer package and follow the installation process.

  6. On the installation check message, click Continue.

  7. On the Introduction tab, Click Continue.

  8. On the Destination Select tab, click Continue.

  9. On the Connect to Server tab, click Continue.

  10. On the Installation Type tab, click Install.

  11. In the Installer is trying to install new software popup window, type in the User Name and the Password for the authentication then click Install Software.

    The Writing Files and Running Scripts window will then appear.

    On the Summary tab, the Installation Succeeded message will appear.

  12. After the new installation of the Security Agent, the "System Extension Blocked" popup message appears. Click Open Security Preferences.

  13. On the General tab, click the lock icon to make changes then click Allow next to "System software from developer "Trend Micro, Inc." was blocked from loading".

    This prompt appears because, starting macOS High Sierra 10.13, any third-party kernel extension installation will require the user's explicit approval, called "Kernel Extension (KEXT) consent". For additional information refer to the KB article: "Sytem Extension Blocked" error appears after installing Trend Micro Security for Mac (TMSM) on macOS High Sierra 10.13 (or later).
  14. The "Protection Enabled" status will appear after successful installation. Click Close.

This solution is applicable to TMMS 9 only.
  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to the Security Agents tab.

  3. Click Add Security Agents.

  4. From the Add Security Agents to dropdown list, select which group you want to add the Security Agent to.

    The default group will automatically add Security Agents to the Server (default) or Device (default).
  5. Click Send Installer Link.

  6. Open or copy and paste the link that was sent via email to a web browser.

  7. Follow the steps provided on the UI. Tap Download to start.

  8. When the message "This type of file can harm your device. Do you want to keep WFBS-SVC_Agent_Installer.apk anyway." appears, tap OK.

  9. Tap Open or open your Downloads folder on the phone.

  10. Tap on WFBS-SVC Installer apk.

  11. Tap Install.

  12. Tap Open to register to google services.

  13. On the Terms of Use popup window, tap Accept.

  14. It will prompt the "Activate device administrator?" message, tap Activate.

  15. Go to your phone's Accessibility settings and tap on Worry-Free Security to activate Web Reputation.

  16. To enable Web Threat Protection, tap the Worry-free Security toggle button.

  17. A message "Use Worry-free Security?" will appear. Tap OK.

    The toggle button is now turned on which means the Web Threat Reputation is enabled.

iOS mobile devices require profiles and enrollment for management. Administrators must create an APNs certificate to enroll iOS mobile devices. If the APNs certificate is revoked or expires, iOS mobile devices cannot be managed. All unmanaged iOS mobile devices must be re-enrolled.

  1. Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Click Administration.

  3. Click Device Enrollment Settings.

  4. Click Upload APNs Certificate.

  5. Click Download Trend Micro CSR.

  6. Go to the Apple Push Certificates Portal and sign in with your Apple ID.

  7. Click Create a Certificate.

  8. Upload the downloaded certificate from step 5.

  9. Click Download to download the MDM Certificate.

  10. Upload the downloaded "MDM Certificate" on the WFBS-SVC Console.

  1. Click on the Security Agents tab.

  6. Provide the Authentication Code found in the email and tap on Continue.

  10. Tap Close then go to your phone Settings to proceed installing the profile.

  13. Enter your Security Code or Pin for Authentication if there is any.
