After updating the TMASE pattern files to 17846.004, InterScan Messaging Security products encounter issues during startup.
To resolve the issue, manually update the TMASE pattern to the version higher than 17846.004:
- Log on to IMSx web console.
- Go to Summary > System page.
- Under the Spam pattern, make sure that the Current Version is using the 17846.004 pattern.
- Tick the Spam pattern check box and click Update.
The IMSS scanning service should now start successfully.
