Disable the services and drivers related to AEGIS and firewall in the OfficeScan management console. This can help you further isolate any issue related to OfficeScan installation.
To turn off AEGIS and firewall services:
- Log on to the OfficeScan management console.
- For OfficeScan 11.0 and XG, go to Agents > Agent Management.
For OfficeScan 10.6 and below, go to Networked Computers > Client Management.
- Select the Domain/Group/specific machine from the list.
- Click Settings > Additional Service Settings.
For AEGIS (Behavior Monitoring Service): Under Unauthorized Change Prevention Service, deselect Enable Service for the following Operating Systems.
For Firewall: Under Firewall Service, deselect Enable Service for the following Operating Systems.
- Click Save.
