Summary
IMSS, being a mail gateway product, has the following additional features that provide added layer of security for Corporate Email users:
- End-User Quarantine (EUQ) - This feature allows end-users to use the EUQ console to view quarantined messages addressed to them and are classified as spam. The EUQ console provides buttons that enable users to delete the messages or release them for delivery.
- Spam Prevention Solution (SPS) - This is another separate licensed feature of IMSS. It scans email bodies and headers, using pattern files and heuristic to calculate a score that indicates how much a message looks like spam (unsolicited, typically commercial email). SPS compares this score with sensitivity levels, called spam catch rates, set by administrators. If the score is equal or greater than the sensitivity level, then the IMSS considers the email as spam. Otherwise, it is not considered as spam.

To remove the EUQ module, follow the procedure on how to delete selected IMSS components.
Meanwhile, SPS cannot be removed because it is integrated during installation. Since SPS requires a separate license, you may disable this feature when the license has expired.
