Determining the user role in Licensing Management Platform system (LMP)

This article discusses how to determine the user role in Licensing Management Platform (LMP).

If you do not know your role in LMP, you can determine your role by loging in to the console. You can identify the user's role based on the following:

Tier-1 role: There are four tabs in the navigation menu: Users, Plans and Licenses, Reports and Administration. Under Users, you can see Partner.

LMP

Tier-2 Reseller role: In the navigation menu, you can only the Users and Administrator tabs.

LMP

Tier-2 MSP role: There are four tabs in the navigation menu: Users, Plans and Licenses, Reports and Administration. Under Users, only the Customer item appears.

LMP

End-customer role: The user has no navigation menu, but he can see Registered Service section on the page.
