The following error message appears when using TMEE:
The Add-in 'Private Post v4' (C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Encryption for Email\bin\PPOutl.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in. Out of memory or system resources. Close some windows or programs and try again.

The error message occurs due to any of the following reasons:
  • Multiple add-ins on Microsoft Outlook
  • Previous issues with add-ins.
To resolve the issue:
  1. Go to the Add-ins section of Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Check if you have unused add-ins.
  3. Delete the add-ins that are not used.
  4. Leave the TMEE plug-in enabled and disable the other add-ins. For the detailed steps in configuring add-ins, refer to the Microsoft article Enable or disable add-ins in Office programs.
