  2. Go to Plug-in Manager.

To deploy and install DLP on the endpoints of the OfficeScan web console:

  1. Navigate to Agents > Agent Management > Settings > Additional Service Settings.
  2. Tick Enable Data Protection Service and click Save.

    Enable Data Protection Service

This will trigger the installation on the Agent.

After enabling Data Protection Service, we need to configure the DLP Settings or Device Control Settings to the initial DLP driver deploying to OSCE agent. Afterwards, the "Restart computer" message will pop up on the OSCE agent.

To configure DLP Settings or Device Control Settings:

  1. Go to Agents > Agent Management > <domain or agent>.
  2. Deploy the module using one of the following methods:
    • Go to Settings > DLP Settings.
    • Go to Settings > Device Control Settings.

Once the Installation is complete, the OfficeScan Agent would need to reboot. This can be verified on the agent itself. There should be a popup notification.
