Summary

When viewing the Summary page of the web console, the prompt asks you to Open or Save the index.php file.

This issue occurs because of either of the following:

  • Apache 2.0 and 2.2 are used as web server and the OfficeScan website is recreated using the svrsvcsetup.exe file.
  • Installing Control Manager (TMCM) 5.5/6.0 downgrades PHP which causes the console issue on the OfficeScan dashboard.

Depending on the cause of the issue, do either of the following:

Edit the httpd.conf file

To prevent the prompt from appearing, do the following:

  1. Go to the ..\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Apache2\conf directory.
  2. Open httpd.conf file using Notepad.
  3. Add the following lines at the end of the file content:
    • For OfficeScan 11.0:

#BEGIN PHP INSTALLER EDITS – REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL
      PHPIniDir "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\"
      LoadModule php5_module "C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\php5apache2_2.dll"
#END PHP INSTALLER EDITS - REMOVE ONLY ON UNINSTALL

    • For OfficeScan 10.6:

      PHPIniDir "C:/Program Files/PHP/"LoadModule php5_module "C:/Program Files/PHP/php5apache2.dll"

This is the usual directory where PHP is being installed, however the path may vary. Specify the correct path if the PHP directory is different.
  4. Save and close Notepad.
  5. Restart the Apache service and verify if the issue is resolved.

If issue persists, contact Trend Micro Technical Support.
