Details
The following may cause the installation to fail:
Before MSA is installed, the target exchange server has existing SQL instances (e.g. SQL application for database management).
To resolve the issue:
- Check if the account used has domain administrator privilege.
- Check if there are remnants of previously failed MSA installation. To do this, please do the following:
- Extract MSA Uninstall Tool. Type "novirus" when prompted for a password.
- Run the Luncher.js as administrator.
- Click Check on the MSA Uninstall Tool interface.
- When all checkpoints' results are "Passed", proceed to the next steps. Otherwise, click Clean to remove all MSA remnants.
- Extract MSA Uninstall Tool.
- Install the SQL SCANMAIL instance manually.
