Learn if the Deep Security Relay (DSR) components (server and agent) support rollback.
There are two functional components in DSR: server component and agent component.
The server component is where each agent will connect to in order to retrieve component updates. The agent component acts like the Deep Security Agent (DSA) and allows protection of the DSR server without having to install a separate agent.
Rollback is not possible in the DSR server. It always pulls down the latest components from the iAU server based on the DSR manifest. The Deep Security Manager (DSM) update page displays the components that the DSR server has.
The DSR agent component, on the other hand, has the same rollback ability as the DSA, meaning it can undo a previous component update. DSA keeps one older copy of each component so that if a rollback is requested, DSA will revert to the previous version until a new component update is done. This means that after a fresh install and a first component update, an “undo” action will revert to the fresh install status.
