The message appears when OfficeScan is busy checking for possible updates. To successfully install the plug-ins, temporarily disable the OfficeScan updates.
- Disable the server scheduled update.
- Log on to the OfficeScan server management console.
- Go to Updates > Server > Scheduled Update.
- Deselect the Enable Scheduled Update option.
- Click Save.
- Disable Smart Protection Update.
- On the OfficeScan server management console, go to Administration > Smart Protection > Integrated Server.
For OfficeScan 10.6 and below, go to Smart Protection > Integrated Server. - Deselect the Enable Scheduled Updates option.
- Click Save.
- On the OfficeScan server management console, go to Administration > Smart Protection > Integrated Server.
- Restart the following services:
- OfficeScan Master Service
- OfficeScan Plug-in Manager Service
At this point, OfficeScan server should be downloading Trend Micro Security for Mac installer from the update source.
- Go back to the Plug-in Manager page and download the installer for Trend Micro Security for Mac.
- Once download is complete, restore configured update settings.
