Disabling the Antimalware Solution Platform (AMSP) log in Worry-Free Business Security (WFBS) 7.0

The AMSP debug log files are filling up your hard drive and there is no option to stop it in the WFBS console.

To disable the debug log collection:

  1. Stop the Security Agent.
  2. Open the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\AMSP\AmspConfig.ini using a text editor like Notepad.
  3. Change the value of DebugLogAMSPServiceStart to "0".

    DebugLogAMSPServiceStart = 0

  4. Save and close the file.
  5. Open the C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\AMSP\AmspLogFilter.ini using a text editor like Notepad.
  6. Change the value of LOG_INFO_TYPE_FRAMEWORK and LOG_INFO_TYPE_ENGINE_IAU to "0".

    LOG_INFO_TYPE_FRAMEWORK = 0
    LOG_INFO_TYPE_ENGINE_IAU = 0

  7. Save and close the file.
  8. Go to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\AMSP\.
  9. Double-click the AMSP_logserver.exe and wait for 5 seconds.
  10. Restart the Security Agent.

The AMSP log collection is now disabled.
