Deep Security 8.0 SP 1 Patch 1 provides the following enhancements:
- The default double-click behavior when editing rules within a profile or for a specific host has been changed. It will now open the override screen instead of the global screen, allowing you to choose which type of modification is needed (Global or Security Profile only).
Previously, double-clicking a rule within a profile takes you to the global screen, thus any change done to that rule is applied globally.
- The ability to configure the newline delimiter within syslog messages is now present.
- The process of synchronizing the Deep Security Manager (DSM) with a VMware vCenter server has been improved to reduce the amount of memory used by the DSM during synchronization.
