Unable to deploy the DLP on a client installed on a server platform in OfficeScan (OSCE)

When you enable/deploy the iDLP (Data Leak Protection) specifically to OSCE clients with Windows Server Operating Systems (Win2003/Win2008/Win2012 ), iDLP is not installed.

This issue occurs because by default, OSCE disables iDLP on Windows server platforms.

To resolve this issue:

  1. Open the console.
  2. Navigate to Agents > Agent Management.
  3. Select the specific client machine.
  4. Click Settings > Additional Service Settings.
  5. Check Enable service on the following operating systems under Advance Protection.
  6. Click Save.

You can now redeploy the iDLP.
