You get the following error message when installing through a Client Package or UNC path (\\server\ofcscan\autopcc.exe):
Unable to install the OfficeScan client. There was an error copying tmdbg20.dll. Please contact your OfficeScan administrator for assistance.
The error appeared either because the ..\PCCSRV\Admin\tmbdg20.dll is missing or renamed to _invalid (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\Admin\tmdbg20.dll_Invalid)
To resolve this, do either of the following:
- Rename all *_invalid files to their original files (e.g. tmdbg20.dll_Invalid to tmdbg20.dll)
- Download and apply Hotfix 1180.1.
- Download and install OSCE 10.6 SP1.
