You receive the following error message when applying an IMSVA patch or hot fix:
"Failed: An error occurred while updating the device. Try again and check the logs for additional details. If the problem persists, restart parent and child devices or rescue the application.”
This issue happens when there is another installation or rollback in progress.
To resolve the issue:
- Go to the /opt/trend/imss/patch folder and look for the *.isinprogress file.
- Delete the *.isinprogress file
- Reinstall the patch or hot fix.
