You can use the AU server to update widgets and policy templates in TMCM 6.0.
Downloading the new widgets and policy templates
Configure TMCM to download the new widgets and policy templates from the AU server by doing any of the following:
- Manual Update: Tick the Control Manager widget pool and policy templates (for Control Manager 6.0 and later) check box, then click Download Now to initiate the update.

- Scheduled Update: Enable Control Manager widget pool and policy templates (for Control Manager 6.0 and later), then click Save. The Scheduled Update mechanism will then download any new widgets available.

Updating the widgets
After TMCM has download the new packages, you can now update the widgets.
- Open the TMCM console.
- The following message appears when Program Update for the widget is downloaded, click Update Now in the Dashboard.
- Click OK when the following message appears after the update is finished.
- Log in to TMCM console. When the package is downloaded, the following message appears on the console:

- Click Update Now. After updating, the Add Widgets icon changes because a widget is updated.

Updating the policy management templates
- Open the TMCM console.
- Go to Policies > Policy Resources > Policy Templates Settings.
- For all sections showing "Enable", click the Enable button. These sections indicate the new policy templates.
There are also updates available that are marked with "Update to x.x" where x.x is the product version. These indicate updates to the current policy templates. Click the Update to x.xx button to update the policy template.
If the package was not downloaded, check the following:
- TmuDump.txt
- Command Tracking page
It is possible that there is no package available yet. The Command Tracking logs show the following when the package was downloaded properly:

If the package was downloaded but not applied properly:
- Check the Command Tracking logs. The following should be displayed:

- Get ..\Control Manager\DebugLog\TmPatch.log file.
