Summary
You get "Smart Scan Not Available" from the client console. This happens when Local Scan server address is using FQDN and client fails to connect to it.
Details
To resolve the issue, do the following:
- Open ..\PCCSRV\ofcscan.ini with a text editor (e.g. Notepad).
- Add "EnableTryHostnameForSmartScan" and set its value to "1".
Note: Default value is "1". - Save, and then close the file.
If problem persists, provide CDT logs to Trend Micro Technical Support.
