Resetting the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) web admin console password

You are unable to log on to the DLP web console using your current password.

To resolve the issue:

  1. Log on to the DLP server as "root".
  2. Type "#sudo mysql –uroot".
  3. Type the following command: update dg_aa_user set password=’eple83ZXucaQDHqTRSJYHw==’ where name=’admin’;

    You should see a response that says “Query OK, 1 row affected…..”.

  4. Try the new password and access the web console using the password "12345678".
  5. Change the password under Administration > Password,
