There are instances where you have to troubleshoot OfficeScan's Web Reputation on Windows 8/Windows 2012 machines.
Details
Do the following:
- Turn off IE ESC on the Windows server platform:
- On Windows 2012, switch to Desktop mode.
- Open Server Manager.
- Go to Local Server.
- Switch IE Enhanced Security Configuration to Off.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to Internet Options > Advanced. Make sure that "Enable third party browser extensions" is checked.
- For HTTPS Scanning:
- Click Tools > Manage Add-ons.
- Click Toolbars and Extensions.
- Look for TmIEPluginBHO Class Browser Help Object and make sure it is Enabled.
- To check if the driver is active, enter the following on the command line: sc query tmeevw
sc query tmusa - Enable the following Registry keys by setting their values to "1": 32-bit:
