Troubleshooting Web Reputation on Windows 8/Windows 2012 with OfficeScan

Do the following:
  1. Turn off IE ESC on the Windows server platform:
    1. On Windows 2012, switch to Desktop mode.
    2. Open Server Manager.
    3. Go to Local Server.
    4. Switch IE Enhanced Security Configuration to Off.
  2. Open Internet Explorer.
    1. Go to Internet Options > Advanced. Make sure that "Enable third party browser extensions" is checked.
    2. For HTTPS Scanning:
      1. Click Tools > Manage Add-ons.
      2. Click Toolbars and Extensions.
      3. Look for TmIEPluginBHO Class Browser Help Object and make sure it is Enabled.
  3. To check if the driver is active, enter the following on the command line:
    sc query tmeevw
    sc query tmusa
  4. Enable the following Registry keys by setting their values to "1":
    32-bit:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\URL Filtering\Enable
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\URL Filtering\EngineStatus
    64-bit:
    • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\URL Filtering\Enable
    • HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTCorp\CurrentVersion\URL Filtering\EngineStatus
