Troubleshoot the issue of having a “Smart Protection Server Disconnected for Web Reputation" warning in the DSM. This message usually appears for Deep Security Virtual Appliances (DSVA).
Details
To resolve the issue:
- Ensure the DSVA’s connectivity to the Internet.
- Make sure the DSVA can connect to the Internet via port 80 bi-directional.
- Make sure there is sufficient memory assigned to the DSVA. Follow this guide:
~ up to 20 VMs = 1GB
~ up to 40 VMs = 2GB
~ up to 60 VMs = 4GB
~ over 100VMs = 8GB
