This article describes the steps in reinstalling the TMCM/Apex Central™ agent service when problems occur in OfficeScan (OSCE), such as:
- unable to start the service
- needs to be installed manually
Do the following:
- On the OfficeScan server, open the command prompt.
Go to the CMAgent directory.
Default location (64-bit): C:\Program Files (x86)\Trend Micro\OfficeScan\PCCSRV\CmAgent
- Uninstall the Control Manager agent by typing the following command:
Reinstall the Control Manager Agent by typing the following command:
The service is again listed in the Microsoft services console.
