Checking if Scheduled Scan has been triggered in Worry-Free Business Security Services (WFBS-SVC) agent

Know the steps on how to verify if Scheduled Scan is configured and triggered in WFBS-SVC agents.

Scheduled Scan: Start/Complete Time is only supported in Windows platform. Other platforms such as Mac OS, iOS, and Android do not send this information to the WFBS-SVC server.
For Scan End time or to verify if the Scheduled Scan is finished, check this information from the Devices tab.
  1. Log on to WFBS-SVC console.
  2. Go to Devices tab.
  3. On the Left pane, search for your device.
  4. On the right pane, choose Customize Columns.
  5. Put a check mark on Scheduled Scan: Start/Complete Time and click Save.

    You may now view the start time and complete time for your scheduled scan.

    If the scan was started and interrupted (e.g. Stop Schedule Scan from tray icon, or shutdown client), you will not see any entry under Scheduled Scan Complete Time.

  1. Open the Registry Editor.
     
    Always back up the whole registry before making any modifications. Incorrect changes to the registry can cause serious system problems.
  2. Check the following registry keys to verify the Scheduled Scan configuration:

    HKLM\Software\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTcorp\CurrentVersion\PreScheduled Scan Configuration:

    REG_DWORD: Enable
    Possible Values: 1=Enable;0=Disable

    REG_DWORD: Frequency
    Possible Values: 2=Weekly; 3=Daily
    4=Hourly; 5=Execute once only

    REG_DWORD: Hour
    Possible Values: 0~12

    REG_DWORD: DayOfWeek
    Possible Values:
    1=Mon; 2=Tues;
    3=Wed ; 4=Thurs
    5=Fri ; 6=Sat; 7=Sun

    REG_DWORD: AmPm
    Possible Values: 1=AM; 2=PM

    REG_DWORD: Minute
    Possible Values: 0~59

    The following registry keys will show the scheduled time and the next Scheduled Scan time:

    • HKLM\Software\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTcorp\CurrentVersion\PreScheduled Scan Configuration\ScanStartTime
    • HKLM\Software\TrendMicro\PC-cillinNTcorp\CurrentVersion\PreScheduled Scan Configuration\NextScanTime
     
    The value for date and time is in Unix format. You may use any online converter to get the exact value.
  3. Close the Registry Editor.
