Summary
IMSVA enables you to manage the End-User Quarantine (EUQ) of distribution lists.
When you request for management rights, IMSVA sends a notification to the distribution list address. The notification contains the following:
- Requesting user's address
- Distribution list address
- Unique, single-use authentication code
- Authentication code expiration date
By default, authentication codes expire after five minutes. You can specify a new expiration date by editing the imss.ini file.

To enable and manage the EUQ of distribution lists:
Allowing users to manage the EUQ of distribution lists
- Go to Administration > End-User Quarantine.
The End-User Quarantine screen appears.
- Click the User Quarantine Access tab.
The User Quarantine Access screen appears.
- Select Enable management of distribution list EUQ.

- Log on to your personal Email Quarantine.
- Click Distribution List EUQ Management.
A new screen appears.
- Specify the email address of the distribution list.
- Click Next.
A new screen appears and the system sends a notification to the distribution list.
- Specify the authentication code provided in the notification.
The authentication code can be used only:
- By the requesting user
- Once
- Before the specified expiration date
- Click Log On.

- Using a text editor, open the imss.ini file.
- Add the following section:

- Save the changes.
- Restart imssmgr by running the following command:
/opt/trend/imss/script/S99MANAGER restart
