This article describes the differences between the group-based scan and device-based scan in WFBS-SVC.
The supported client matrix for the scans are as follows:

Administrators can now send the scan now or stop scan now command to selected groups.
- Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
- Go to the Security Agents tab.
- On the left pane, choose the group that you want to scan.

Hover over the number of agents next to the group name and click on the menu icon (three vertical dots).

Click Start Normal Scan .
To verify who triggered the scan, check the auditing logs.
Go to Logs > Web Console Events > Group Management.
To enhance usability and user experience, administrators can send the scan now or stop scan command by device instead of the whole group.
- Log on to the WFBS-SVC console.
- Go to the Security Agents tab.

On the left pane, select the group where the device is located.

Tick the checkbox next to the endpoint name to select the device.

Click Scan > Start Normal Scan.
To verify who triggered the scan, check the auditing logs.
Go to Logs > Web Console Events > Endpoint Management.
