The "access forbidden by rule" in the error log is normal. This appears when the DSR temporarily disables its web server.
As a protective design, the DSR turns off the web server while updating components from its source. This prevents the Deep Security Agents (DSA) and Deep Security Virtual Appliances (DSVA) from getting an out-of-date component. The web server goes back online after the update.
