The following OfficeScan client functions are currently incompatible with Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 environments. These functions are either automatically disabled or improperly functional.
- Scan HTTPS URLs option in Web Reputation settings
In Internet Explorer for Windows, the following error may appear: 'TmIEPlugInBHO Class' from Trend Micro, Inc. isn't compatible with Internet Explorer's enhanced security features and has been disabled. - Trend Micro Unauthorized Change Prevention Service
- Behavior Monitor settings
- Device Control Settings
- Client Self-protection settings in Privilege and Other Settings
Other functions will still work as expected. However, the existing OSCE clients will be affected after upgrading to Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2.
The OSCE 10.6 SP2 and SP3 support server installation on Windows Server 2012 R2.
