Slow web browsing performance after upgrading clients/agents

Some OfficeScan clients/agents upgraded to OfficeScan (OSCE) 10.6 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or OSCE 11.0 are experiencing performance issues when visiting websites on the Internet.

To resolve this issue:
  1. Unload the OfficeScan client/agent.
  2. Go to registry settings.
  3. Change the value of this key to "9437184" (Decimal):
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\TrendMicro\NSC
    \TmProxy\ProtocolHandler\http\config\SockRequestBufSize
  4. Reload the OfficeScan client/agent.
  5. Wait for 2-3 minutes for the browser to return to normal state.
Machine performance is based on incremental updates. You need to observe other systems after applying the change.
