Default Scan Cache settings in Deep Security 8.0 SP2 Patch 1

The Scan Cache mechanism of Deep Security 8.0 Service Pack (SP) 2 Patch 1 is the same as that of Deep Security 9.0. However, because it does not have a configuration UI, you cannot see the default values of the Scan Cache settings.

By default, the Scan Cache settings are set to the following values:
  • Max On-Demand Malware Scan Cache Entries: 100000
  • Max Real-Time Malware Scan Cache Entries: 100000
  • Expiry Time of On-Demand Malware Scan Cache: 900s
  • Expiry Time of Real-Time Malware Scan Cache: 900s
