Summary
When the EAC Server is installed with IP address binding, the EAC Server service does not start successfully.
Details
When there is an IP address binding, the backend listens only to the network interface with the specified IP address. Thus, server connector cannot be created when the IP address does not exist upon starting the service.
To resolve the issue:
- Restart the EAC server service when the IP address is similar and correct on the specified IP address.
- If the IP address is different from the installation setting, do one of the following options:
- Reinstall the EAC server.
- Adjust the IP address in the GUI app as shown below and restart the service.
Note: The GUI app is located in %programfiles%\Trend Micro\Endpoint Application Control\AcServer\bin\TMACServerServicew.exe.
