The product tree of TMCM/Apex Central only displays the first-level domain of OfficeScan. In some instances, customers want to apply policies starting from the second-level domains and deeper.
Although second level and deeper domains are not displayed in the product tree, it is possible to specify them as a Policy Criteria in TMCM/Apex Central.
- Open the TMCM console.
- Go to Policies > Policy Management.
- Click the policy you want to edit, or click Create to create a new policy.
- To Filter by Criteria and Specify Targets, select OfficeScan domain hierarchy from the Match Keywords in dropdown list.
The example below shows a policy that will only apply to OfficeScan clients under the Tree Path emeact.tm\TMCM Servers\Computers.
The filter searches for the specified string in the tree path, so it does not have to be an exact match. For example, if you specify TMCM servers in the search string above, it will also match.
